Thank you for your interest in Sunday Teams at Jubilé / Jubilee Montréal. As a church we exist to share the good news as a spiritual family for holistic transformation and our Sunday gatherings are an important part of this. By partnering with us on the Ambiance & Setup Team you will be an integral part of our family’s mission.

As with any ministry, there are responsibilities that go along with serving. Your first step in being involved in our Sunday Teams will be to fill out this application in full. When you have submitted this application the Ambiance & Setup Team coordinator will contact you within the next 7-10 days.

Please Read the Following
1. Introduction: The set-up and ambiance team arrives 1 hour 30 minutes before the Sunday church gathering in order to clean and prepare the space for community and guests.

“Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honour the one who serves me” (John 12:26).

2. Objective: The Ambiance & Setup team is responsible preparing a welcoming and safe environment for people who will be attending the Sunday church gathering.

3. Policy:

a. Set up a username and password with Planning Centre (the coordinator will send you instructions for this).

b. Arrive no later than 1h30 minutes before church gathering begins.

c. Inform the Coordinator of any scheduling conflicts as soon as possible.

d. Familiarize yourself with the binder containing all the necessary information.*

4. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Examples of the different “duties” that are needed each week for your team

a. Floors: Sweeping and mopping all areas.

b. Chairs: Placing chairs in appropriate rows (see pictures in the binder).

c. Connection table: Setting up the table where people find information about the community. All materials are in blue box labeled “Connection” (See pictures in the binder).

d. Hospitality table: Setting up the table with coffee, tea, water, cups, etc. All materials are in blue box labeled “Hospitality” (see pictures in the binder).

e. Jubilee Junior area(s): Setting up safe, clean areas for children. All materials are in blue box labeled “Jubilee Junior” (See pictures in the binder).

Please note that specific duties will depend on which location we are meeting that Sunday (i.e. Innovation Youth, Concordia, etc.)
