Prayer Focus: Monday, November 21st - Sunday, November 27th

As you pray this week, meditate on what the bible says about God’s love. May we be moving from selfishness to love, as we follow after Jesus’ example of loving God and our neighbour. 

Below are some verses and quotes that you can meditate on. 

John 3:16 | “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
1 John 4:8 | “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love..”
1 John 4:19-20 | “We love because he first loved us. 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.”
Romans 5:5b | “God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
Ephesians 3:17b-19 | “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
